Dr. David Reznik

David Reznik is a graduate of Emory College and Emory University's School of Dentistry and is the Director of the Oral Health Center of Grady's Infectious Disease Program, a clinic he founded over 29 years ago. He also serves as Chief of the Dental Medicine Service for the Grady Health System. Dr. Reznik is president and founder of the HIV Dental Alliance (HIVdent), a not-for-profit organization of concerned healthcare providers committed to assuring access to high quality oral health care services for people with HIV disease throughout the U.S. Dr. Reznik has lectured and published extensively on HIV and oral health, infection control issues and antibiotic stewardship. He has also provided technical assistance to oral health programs throughout the United States for the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) HIV/AIDS Bureau (HAB) grantees and serves as a clinical site visitor for HAB grantees. Dr. Reznik was a member off the Presidential Advisory Council on HIV/AIDS (PACHA) from 2002 - 2007 and during this time chaired the Treatment/Care sub-committee and Domestic sub-committees. He has served as an outside consultant for malpractice cases for the HRSA Bureau of Primary Care. Dr. Reznik is a cohort 1 2016-2019 Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Clinical Scholar alumni working with a multidisciplinary team to increase access to oral health care adults and children throughout the U.S.
